Sponsor Ryan as he embarks on an inspiring and impactful 13-day, 1100-mile, solo cycling adventure around Lake Michigan to raise funds and awareness for Walker's Point Youth & Family Center. Ryan's ride will start June 26th in Milwaukee and head south, through Chicago, Indiana, up the western shore of Michigan, across the massive Mackinac Bridge, through the UP, and back down Wisconsin's eastern shoreline--ending in Milwaukee on July 9th.
“I was really looking forward to this ride as a personal challenge and feeling accomplished at the end. As the ride got closer, I realized it's a great chance to raise awareness and funding for the needs of young people in Milwaukee,” says Ryan.
Walker’s Point Youth & Family Center provides vital services to youth experiencing crisis, including emergency shelter, mental health counseling, and housing for single and parenting youth in Milwaukee, WI. These essential services offer a lifeline to young people in need, ensuring they have a safe place to stay and the support of caring adults necessary to build a thriving future.
Ryan also hopes to inspire young people to set challenging goals and reach them through focused effort and determination. “Sometimes, young people facing tough challenges need someone to step up and take on a challenge for them,” Ryan added.
Track Ryan’s progress, cheer him on, and spread the word that "Hope Lives Here." Together, we can make a difference, one mile at a time.
